Ember Lab launched Kena: Bridge of Spirits simply final month, and it feels like the sport’s already been successful for the studio. The studio’s founders confirmed in a brand new interview that Kena has already made its improvement prices again on its debut sport.
Chatting with Bloomberg, Ember Lab founders Mike and Josh Grier confirmed that Kena: Bridge of Spirits has recuperated its preliminary prices. They didn’t shut what these numbers are, although they did verify that Sony is “completely happy” with the figures.
Although Ember Lab began out as a studio making animated commercials and branded sport purposes, the founders confirmed they’re “not going again to commercials.” In line with their chat with Bloomberg, Ember Lab will turn into a full-time developer, and is already engaged on its subsequent mission. They’re not formally saying something but, although they do inform Bloomberg will probably be a “narrative-driven” sport, much like Kena.
Kena: Bridge of Spirits launched on PC and PlayStation consoles final month, and garnered some good reward for the studio’s first outing. Our personal Jordan Devore wished for a sequel in his ideas on the sport, and whereas that want hasn’t come true simply but, it’s heartening to see a studio have such a robust launch out of the gate.
