Sport developer and Psygnosis co-founder Ian Hetherington has handed away. Hetherington was a longtime presence within the sport business, having helped convey video games like Lemmings, Wipeout, and plenty of extra to life throughout his profession.
Information of his passing was shared on social media as fellow sport builders recalled his legacy and affect on each the broader business and their very own careers.

Hetherington, alongside Jonathan Ellis and David Lawson, co-founded sport writer and developer Psygnosis in 1984. Following its acquisition by Sony in 1993, that focus shifted largely to engaged on video games for the unique PlayStation by the mid and late ’90s.
